Using public areas of our website
We won't collect any personally identifiable information about you when you use public areas of the website (ie where you don't have to enter your security details) unless your use follows a visit to the secure area, at which point web logs will monitor your use.
The details you give us when you use tools in the public areas, such as calculators, will not be stored unless you take out the product you used the tool for.
Personal information provided when entering competitions or prize draws, or completing questionnaires will be used in accordance with the instructions and rules provided.

Cookies and web logs
When people use our website we keep track of what they do, just like other banks keep track of who's using their branches. This involves keeping a log of activity on our servers and where necessary placing cookies on your computer.
